Photography In Collaborative Research
Summary: We are concerned with 'insider' and 'outsider' images and understandings of multilingual literacy practices. We have used photography in collaboration with co-researchers in two research contexts: bilingual Welsh communities in north east Wales and the South-Asian Bangladeshi Muslim community, paying attention to the way our collaboratively produced and interpreted photographs enrich our understandings of multilingual literacies.
